Cory Zwerling
President & Chief Executive Officer
Cory Zwerling brings extensive experience to this leadership role, derived from his 20-year track record of achievement in the pharmaceutical industry. During his career he held a number of significant leadership roles at Bristol-Myers Squibb, most recently as President of Bristol-Myers Squibb Medical Imaging. Previous roles at BMS included heading up a global team for the development of PPAR therapeutics, and serving as General Manager, Thailand for the Global Medicines Group. Mr. Zwerling also currently serves as a Board Director to Critical Therapeutics Inc. in Lexington MA. |

Peter Daddona, PhD
Chief Scientific Officer
Peter Daddona has over 30 years of pharmaceutical research and development experience. Prior to establishing this new independent company, he served as Vice President, Scientific Leader of The Macroflux® Internal Venture, one of Johnson & Johnson’s first Internal Ventures. Previously he was Vice President of Macroflux® Technology Development and Biological Sciences at ALZA Corporation in Mountain View Ca. and held an appointment as Consulting Associate Professor of Dermatology at Stanford University. Before joining ALZA, he served as Vice President, Immunobiology Research at Centocor, in Malvern Pa., where he focused on preclinical development of therapeutic monoclonal antibodies. Most notably he is a co inventor on the original Remicade patents. Prior to joining Centocor, he served as Associate Professor of Biological Chemistry and Internal Medicine at the University of Michigan. Dr Daddona earned his Ph.D. from the University of Connecticut and post-doctoral training at Duke University.

Greg Yedinak
Chief Manufacturing Officer, VP Manufacturing
Prior to joining Zosano Pharma, Greg served most recently as Vice President, Process Sciences and Manufacturing at Nuvelo. In that role, he was responsible for the in-house and outsourcing operations for Nuvelo’s clinical pipeline. Prior to that he was at Amgen (formerly Abgenix) where he was Vice President, Manufacturing, Facilities and Engineering. In that position, he was responsible for directing the clinical and commercial manufacturing facilities and engineering operations at sites in Fremont, California and Vancouver, British Columbia, and played a pivotal role in managing the Chemistry Manufacturing and Controls section of multiple U.S. and global regulatory submissions, including the Biologics License Application for Abgenix's lead product candidate, panitumumab. Previously, he spent 15 years at Genentech, where he had various roles in the manufacturing of more than 20 marketed products and product candidates. He received a BS in Biological Sciences from the University of California-Irvine.

Kim Gaumer Vice President, Regulatory Affairs and Quality Assurance
Kim Gaumer is Vice President of Regulatory Affairs and Quality Assurance and joined the company in February of 2007. Kim has over 20 years experience in pharmaceutical drug development, including seven years in nonclinical toxicology research and 14 years in regulatory affairs. Her experience includes oral, transdermal and implanted drug delivery systems, with an emphasis on
drug device combinations including novel drug delivery systems. She has extensive experience with CNS drug products and analgesics, including Duragesic transdermal
chronic pain fentanyl patch, cardiovascular drug Covera HS, Concerta for ADHD, and IONSYS , a non-invasive patient-controlled analgesic
combination product that was recently approved in the US and across the European Union. Her regulatory experience covers pre-Phase 1 through
post-marketing support, including experience with controlled drugs and development of risk management programs.

Leslie Mesones
Director, Human Resources
Leslie Mesones joined Zosano in September of 2007. Prior to joining Zosano, she has held various management positions with companies such as the Gladstone Institutes, Celera, Bayer and most recently Theravance in South San Francisco . Leslie began her Human Resources career in 1991 with a well known retail coffee company, Peet’s Coffee and Tea.
A graduate of UC Davis, Leslie also recently received her Coaching Certificate from JFK University where she has also served as a Teaching Assistant for the JFK Coaching program. An active member of the biotech HR community, she is the Program Committee lead for the Biotech Human Resources Network (BHRN) and a participant on the Core and the Mentorship Committee for the Biotech Organization Learning and Development (BOLD) group.
